Entitled “A Little of This and a Little of That,” the program begins with Caesar Giovannini’s “Overture in B Flat.” After its “encore” number of John Phillip Sousa’s “The Black Horse Troop March” the program continues with Vincent Persichetti’s “Serenade No. 1″ for a smaller ensemble made up of selected players within the National Concert Band. In this same format we next play “Spiel for Wind Orchestra” by Ernst Toch. After its encore of Henry Fillmore’s “Men of Ohio” march with the full ensemble, we conclude the program with Roger Cichy’s “Galilean Moons.”

As with every National Concert Band performance we salute our Veterans, past, present and future, with “Armed Forces Salute” in an arrangement by Bob Lowden, and our “Signature” song “This Is My Country.”

For future planning the National Concert Band of America has additional performances scheduled as follows: February 8, 2015, 3 PM at Fairfax High School;  March 22, 2015, 3 PM at a site to be determined; May 3, 2015, 3 PM at Hayfield High School.
